Abigail Habegger
PIANO

Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Abigail is relatively new to the Seattle area.  She started playing the piano at 5 years of age and enjoyed playing in competitions and accompanying concerts while growing up.   She is known for her teaching, solo work as well as her collaborative work, including opera, chamber music, juries, and competitions.  Abigail has accompanied rehearsals for La Traviata in Urbania, Italy, Broadway shows such as Cabaret, touring children’s choirs, and members of the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra.  She holds a Bachelor in Music from DePaul University and a Master’s in Music from Northern Illinois University.  She is currently the piano accompanist for Puget Soundworks Chorus of Seattle.  Abigail also loves hiking, running, baking, and keeping up with her 3 children Alyse, Arakel, and Anya, as well as her husband Steve.

Adam Syed
VIOLIN

Adam originally hails from Ohio and has devoted himself to teaching and performing the violin for two decades, for one of which, he held a tenured position with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra as a core member of the violin section. In addition to also performing regularly with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, he has performed with the orchestras of Canton, Huntington, Youngstown, Cleveland Opera, Opera Columbus, and Queen City Chamber Opera. Since arriving in Seattle in 2014, Mr. Syed has performed with the orchestras of Tacoma, Yakima, Lake Washington, Federal Way, Pacific Northwest Lyric Opera, in addition to weddings and corporate events. He has also taught privately throughout the region and has worked with the Seattle and Bellevue Youth Symphonies. 

Danna Theilen
CELLO

Danna was born and raised in the Seattle area, and graduated from the University of Washington with two bachelor degrees in classical music studies and cello performance. She went down a non-musical career path and currently earns a her primary living as a business and technology consultant, but she is quite active musically and is an in-demand player. In addition to the Illumina Piano Trio, Danna also plays with the Valence String Quartet, and the Octavia Chamber Orchestra. She has played with the finest community orchestras in the area, including the Philharmonia Northwest, Lake Union Civic Orchestra, Octavia Chamber Orchestra.
Danna also loves to ski and spending time with her daughter Jackie and partner Garr.
